I now read and listen to everything that I can on this subject, and I will tell you why. Everything involving being homeless, parallels another time in history, and for all intensive purposes, the two are nearly in lock step. If the prior era, and the current times, were both given timelines, and summaries, as to the policies adopted and enforced, the creation of state run welfare agencies and programs, the benefits offered, versus what was given. The purposeful difficulties created to deter homeless from even applying for benefits, let alone go near certain areas. The gradual elimination of benefits. The closing of all buildings to get help/benefits from, and bring them into one location, as far away as possible, in order to make it difficult or impossible to get to. The requirement of the homeless to register under the guise of tracking their locations in relation to near by shelters. The categories of homeless, vagrants, and beggars that were slowly removed from being qualified to apply for benefits. The adding of certain sects and areas of people to the list of who was defined as homeless, such as anyone that has applied for benefits more than once, as well as any male, over 26 years old, not married, and no stable job. Also anyone that did not own , and live in a permanently affixed home. They were given names, such as, "work shy" , or "anti-economic". The belief that being homeless is a choice. Giving the homeless The drive to eliminate any and all visuals of any homeless, first on specific local levels, to the claim, and desire to eliminate them from existence all together. The criminalization of simply being homeless, all the way to their coming to the conclusion of it being cheaper to just get rid of the homeless, than it is to help them. If anyone thinks absolutely all of this is not in place at one level or another, should really do more research, because if you search any of this in any browser, or search engine, will not be let down by the endless results of any of this. Even this very minute, there is a certain female, running for governor in Arizona, who has posted her policy as to hoe she is going to deal with the homeless. And not just locally, but have plans to implement it nationally, if they are allowed. Her policy basically breaks down to similar goals, such as homelessness, being a choice, have a couple options available to them, which is, get it together, or get out of the state. I am not sharing her name, but it is easy enough to figure it out. I do not endorse any of them running for any position in this state. The Third Reich was the ones responsible for all of that dealings with anyone homeless. This is not fiction, and it is nearly exactly on a superimposed timeline if compared to things in place as we speak. Germany, then the Third Reich, between like 1931, through to at least 1936, Himmler, and the SS went through all this, as we are doing now, until they eventually decided to execute them rather than held them, or even send the to work camps, prisons, internment camps, etc. They used the registration of the homeless, shelter registries, etc. in order to locate and round them up. I cannot substantiate the claim myself, nor had time to look into it more, but I am told sometime groups, sometimes individuals, are just going missing, and no one sees them again. Their things abandoned, etc. I have seen many full shopping carts, and wheelchairs, holding someone's property, just left at a corner, or middle of a parking lot, and no one ever comes back for them. I have seen a good amount of people at certain bus stops, and areas, only to go by them a few hours later, to see absolutely all of them gone. None. Not one during the entire drive through the city. They all just miraculously found somewhere to go all at the same time, and so good in fact, that no one ever comes back again? What I do know is, and I named my company after it, is that it is the, "theory of decadence". We need to pay attention to what history has to teach us, but instead, we seem to be getting rid of any and all paper records, and books as fast as we can, in order to go all digital. If I have to express the dangers in that, then I give up. If you all really want to help, and not steer us down the same path as before, quit talking about it, and fkn do it. Tell people. Everyone. Everywhere. As loud as you can. Meetings, zooms, and youtube videos are not going to stop what is happening. So, if you are truly about it, do not stop until there is a change that benefits these people. Where I am the money dedicated to help the homeless, first the affordable housing money was diverted to the police to enforce, and arrest them for trespass and urban camping laws. Now, they are using the tax dollars to help them by removing the shade and benches from all bus stops so they cannot rest there, or find shade. They are closing the parks really early, and opening them late, for the same reason. We gave hundreds of billions of dollars to a country recently to maintain a proxy war against a country that has never attacked us. Ever. My state was just publicly bragging that they have a surplus of over 11 billion dollars leftover, and wasn't sure how to spend it. But, we do not have the money to help absolutely everyone that needs it? I would like to remind everyone that the government has zero money. None. They have our tax dollars. Without that, they have nothing. Is this really what we want to do to human beings? Is this where we were told the money was going, and to what they promised it would in order to get our votes? I've been specializing in Medicare as an insurance broker since 2004. I appreciate this information and insight from those who were on the inside of it all. I've also been in health insurance and voluntary/worksite benefits. Working with the public and seeing it work on a daily basis, I have a lot of thoughts overall on our healthcare system. I think, most of all, more government (especially at the federal level) is not the answer, as it is more and more apparent that corruption and fraud/waste/abuse only persists and appears to be more prevalent now. Quite frankly, I find it insulting that I have to certify every year to sell Medicare supplements/Advantage/PDPs and get reminded of the fraud, waste, abuse laws/rules, and penalties, yet I see the regular abuse in all three areas as part of the cesspool that is the federal government. Further, Obamacare was NOT the answer AT ALL! In fact, it only made insurance/care worse! The cost of covering families and the out-of-pocket costs on insurance plans is ridiculous! I don't see any effort to curb the cost of care. Until we get the corruption under control, I don't see any good coming out of Washington.
